To New York Islanders: Sean Couturier Patrik Laine Milan Lucic
To Nashville: Leon Draisaitl Teuvo Teravainen Alexander Wennberg
Thanks to Jussi for the great discussions. Its rare to find a guy who will come out with a well thought out and solid initial offer. Laine had been discussed a couple times previously but in the past few days I considered it more seriously. A small tinker and the deal was done. I'm really hoping to spark my scoring with a top 3 player at center and while I lose on Laine, I feel that Bergeron and Couturier were just too similar. Let's see some spark in Nashville now! I only gain a very minimal cap amount here and leave myself room to add in other holes as well.

New York Islanders agrees. Very hard and sad to lose a star player like Draisaitl, but it has not been a big secret that I been wanting Pate (Patrik Laine) for long time indeed (from the day one to be precise). In Couturier we will get an excellent replacement for Draisaitl in center. I'm certain that Draisaitl and Teräväinen will have tremendous success in Nashville. Wennberg and Looch were added on deal to adjust the cap difference. I'm hopeful that Looch has still some gasoline left and can be very useful to us. Talks with fellow Bruins' fan Scott were very easygoing and pleasant, solid offers and no bs. Thanks mate!!!
