To Chicago:
Anthony Cirelli Jonas Siegenthaler 2021 LAK 4th
To Florida:
Travis Hamonic Brandon Tanev Noah Juulsen 2021 CHI 2nd
Hawks agree. We feel we pay a hefty price here but bring in 2 guys that should be long time key members of the Hawks. Cirelli will slot in behind Pettersson and Barzal giving us an amazing 1-2-3 center combo. Losing Hamonic hopefully won't hurt too much. Juulsen was a sticking point for a while in these talks, as we have high hopes for his future, but he was a necessary piece to make the deal ultimately. Thanks for the fantastic talks, Trevor. Best of luck!

Florida agrees.
I don't love trading Cirelli, but I think this lets us run some interesting strategies that I wanted to try out. Tanev was an important part here, as he fits the kind of style I want to play, and him and Coleman together on a line will be a ton of fun. With Hamonic we've got five 87+ DF defensemen we can trot out there.
Juulsen is intriguing - not really sure how his lower PO will play out in re-rates, but he's already got some interesting ratings and with a good farm year could hopefully jump up to be a Siegenthaler-lite type player next season with a bit more of an edge, and after seeing how prospect creation pans out a bit, I actually quite like having another 2nd, even if it's late - should turn out a pretty interesting youngster. Everyone we're getting here was a player we had some interest in at the dispersal draft - perhaps not quite as much as Cirelli - but with Krebs and Lundell as blue-chip centre prospects waiting in the wings and Johansen fairly young still, we think our centre depth going forward will be OK.
