To WASHINGTON:
Troy Terry Dmitri Samorukov Ryan McLeod BUF 2nd Round Pick 2021 ANA 2nd Round Pick 2021 MIN 3rd Round Pick 2022 MIN 4th Round Pick 2022 John Beecher (P)
To MINNESOTA:
Kaiden Guhle Benoit Olivier Groulx
Minnesota accepts, I’m a huge believer in Guhle and I think he’s gonna be a really good defenseman, I give a lot in this trade but I got the player I wanted. Groulx has a lot of talent Aswell and we look forward to seeing what he can do moving forward

Washington agrees to above deal
Maybe not the ideal return I would have want for either player but there are a lot of pieces/futures that i can work with there and i feel i can find some Gems with the 2nd's.

This trade has been rejected.
The number of assets being sent to Washington far exceeds a rational amount. Proper development of a third of those assets could result in better value than the players being acquired.
For league-wide consumption, since this is the first deal denied based on lopsided assets changing hands (only 4 other trades have been rejected in total, none for this reason), please note that wasting assets can be seen as conduct detrimental to one's team. The reasons for a full Dispersal Draft were to give everyone ample assets to build out over a number of years.
Please keep this in mind for the future.
